Leave fireworks to the professionals. Amateur use of fireworks can lead to devastating burns, other injuries, fires and even death. For these reasons, the possession and use of any fireworks, without exception, is illegal in New York City.
Leave the fireworks to the professionals and enjoy the many fireworks displays scheduled throughout the City. These displays are conducted under the supervision of the FDNY.
