2009 Foundation Humanitarian Dinner
In New York City, fires and fire fatalities are at their lowest number in decades. Our Firefighters and EMS crews are also responding to emergencies faster than ever before. But we must continue investing to keep improving. The FDNY and the city face dire financial challenges, and we greatly depend on your continued support.
This year’s dinner is April 23 at the New York Hilton. We are honoring Kevin Burke, Chairman and CEO of Con Edison, and Brian Williams, News Anchor and Managing Editor of NBC Nightly News, and Arthur E. Imperatore Sr., Founder, President and CEO of NY Waterways. The evening brings out the best of New York in a celebratory salute to New York’s Bravest and the courageous work they perform everyday.
